Moscow, March 31, 2015. — Ministry of Telecom and Mass communications of the Russian Federation reports that decree №525-p from March 27, 2015 on allocation of subsidies from the Federal budget on development of information society in regions of Russia in 2015 was published on the official website of the Government of the Russian Federation. The decree, prepared by Minsvyaz, was signed by Dmitry Medvedev, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.
554.5 million rubles in form of subsidies for support of IT projects in 2015 were allocated within the state program “Information society (2011-2020)”. 30 regions of Russia won this competition. Results of the competition were summarized by Minsvyaz on March 16, 2015.
73 regions of Russia took part in the competition. 71 of which underwent expert study. 67 requests complied with requirements and took part in the competition. Requests from Nenets Autonomous District, Kamchatka Krai, Orenburg and Penza Oblast were not considered, because they didn’t meet criteria of co-financing from regional budget.
Competition committee was comprised of representatives of the Apparatus of the Government of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Education and Science and the Federation Council. Criteria and calculation formulas were approved by the Governmental decree №157 from February 21, 2015.
