Moscow, August 12, 2015. — Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation reports that 11 thousand organizations in sphere of housing and public utilities were registered in the Government Information System on Housing and Public Utilities (GIS HPU). Particularly, management and resource-supplying organizations, homeowners associations, housing cooperatives, regional and local public authorities.
“All state housing inspections are registered in GIS HPU. The are maintaining registers of licenses on management of mansions,” said Mikhail Evraev, Deputy Minister of Telecom and Mass Communications. More than 13 thousand licenses are already allocated in the system.
Teleconference on housing and public utilities took place under chairmanship of Dmitry Kazak, Deputy Chairman of the Government of Russia, on July 22, 2015. The system was presented to heads of Federal executive authorities and chief executives of regions of Russia.
GIS HPU is being cooperatively developed with Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of Russia. More than 9 thousand management companies are registered in the system. They comprise nearly 70% of companies, possessing licenses on management of houses.
GIS HPU was created for replacement of numerous websites with data on housing and public utilities. GIS HPU will be a single national resource. It will provide full and up-to-date data on management companies, housing works and delivered services, their costs and other data in sphere of housing and public utilities. Public authorities will use GIS HPU in their work for making well-balanced decisions throughout Russia based on reliable data on housing and public utilities.
