Moscow, September 15, 2015. — Igor Kozlov, Council of Minister of Telecom and Mass Communications, was appointed to position of chairman of the Council of Directors of OAO Ruselectronics. Corresponding decisions was adopted on the first meeting of new Council of Directors of the company.
Holding company Russian electronics was established in 2009 and is included in state corporation Rostec. The company specializes in development and production of electronic equipment, electronic materials and automated information systems.
Igor Kozlov is Council of Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications. He is responsible for preparation of draft legal acts on corporate management in branch joint stock companies with government participation and increase of efficiency of Federal state unitary enterprises subordinated to Minsvyaz.
Import substation in sphere of radio electronic equipment is one of key activity directions of Minsvyaz. The Ministry is also responsible for import substitution of software and telecom equipment.
Igor Kozlov was born in 1965 in Tashkent. He graduated from Riga Higher Military Aviation Engineering School named Yakov Alksnis in 1987 and from Zhukovsky Air Force Engineering Academy in 1999. Igor is Doctor of Technical Sciences and Docent. He graduated from the Esslingen University with MBA degree.
Igor Kozlov served in military service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation from 1982 to 2003. He worked on leading positions in large Russian financial and investment holdings, such as Chelpipe group, Uralsib, AFK Sistema. Igor was also a member of Council of Directors of leading ICT companies and companies of military-industrial sector — OAO Sitronics, OAO RTI Systems.
Igor Kozlov was appointed to position of Council of Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications in November 2013.
He was selected to Council of Directors of OAO Rostelecom in April 2014.
