Moscow, October 14, 2015. — Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation and Moscow Department of Information Technologies report about beta testing of service Open Platform of Public Services on Moscow portal of public services. Two popular public services are currently available on the portal — verification of tax debts and data on individual taxpayer number.
Open platform of public services is a part of the program of Minsvyaz aimed at distribution of e-government services. The service was introduced for delivery of Federal e-government services on portals and websites of Federal and regional executive authorities with the use of widgets of the Unified Public Services Portal (UPSP). It helps to integrate unified users’ experience on one website and to increase number of channels for access to e-government services.
“Today citizens don’t consider Federal and regional portals of public services as a part of the unified state service due to diversified structure and channels for delivery of e-government services. Interaction between state portals is very weak,” said Alexey Kozyrev, Deputy Minister of Telecom and Mass Communications, “Development of Open Platform is connected with necessity to create unified solution that will provide citizens with an opportunity to use services and UPSP personal account taking into account specificity of regional portals. This platform will make delivery of Federal services more convenient and at the same time increase amount of services delivered in electronic form.”
Next stage of development implies duplication of implementation decisions on other regional portals, development and introduction of widgets of popular Federal public services.
