Pilot Project for Payment of State Duties on Foreign Passport via the Unified Public Services Portal was Launched

Moscow, November 19, 2015. — Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation reports about launch of pilot project for payment of state duties for services of the Federal Migration Service via the Unified Public Services Portal (UPSP).Novosibirsk, Moscow, Samara and Nizhny Novgorod Oblast are taking part in this pilot project.
 
Citizens of these regions can not only hand in applications for issue of Russian passport via the UPSP, foreign passport of old and new generation, but also pay state duties for these services. It is possible to pay with bank card.
 
“New UPSP functional significantly simplifies order of documents processing. Just one visit to the Federal Migration Service will be required for order of foreign passport of old generation. The applicant should visit the Service just to take passport, application and payment for the service can be conducted via the UPSP,” said Vladimir Averbakh, Director of Department for Development of E-government of Minsvyaz.
 
Issue of foreign passport is among the most popular services today. Starting from the first day of introduction of new functional of the UPSP users conducted transactions in amount of 1.6 million rubles.
 
Payment of state duties for services of the Federal Migration Service will be available to all citizens of Russia in future.
