Moscow, November 25, 2015. — Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications expanded list of cryptographic equipment for connection to e-government infrastructure within works on development of the Unified System of Interdepartmental Electronic Cooperation.
“Recently it was possible to connect to e-government infrastructure only with the use of equipment of Infotecs. Alternative points for connection of equipment of companies Security code and S-Terra were created. This measure will help participants of electronic cooperation to choose the most convenient way of connection on the base of their equipment without additional costs,” said Oleg Kachanov, Director of Department for Development of E-government of Minsvyaz.
Minsvyaz already initiated pilot project on connection of SIEC participants via alternative cryptographic equipment. The Federal Treasury, the General Staff of Ministry of Defense and some regions of Russia will take part in the project. Public authorities and regions of Russia can direct their applications to Minsvyaz.
Renewed requirements to communication channels are published on the technological portal of SIEC. It is planned to include them to renewed regulation on cooperation between participants of the system and will be approved on the meeting of the Subcommittee on the Use of Information Technologies for Delivery of Public Services.
