Andrei Chernenko was born on June 21, 1978 in Leningrad.
In 2001 he graduated from Saint-Petersburg State Maritime Technical University with a degree in computing machines, complexes, systems and networks.
From 1998 to 2001 he held various positions in the Migration Service of Saint-Petersburg.
From 2001 to 2012 he worked in various organizations in the field of IT and communications.
From 2012 he worked in the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation.
On April 6, 2020 Andrei Chernenko was appointed Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation.
